Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Hîncești District Council because I know from first-hand experience how much a village depends on the health of its animals. I am a veterinary doctor and I head the veterinary station in Dancu, which serves five villages in the district.

I was born and raised in Dancu, among farmsteads and livestock. After studying veterinary medicine in Chișinău, I came back home — because this is where I learned my trade, and these are the people I know by name.

Every week I see the same troubles: vaccinations done late because the veterinary station has no service car; African swine fever leaving farmsteads without pigs and without timely compensation; outdated equipment that makes an accurate diagnosis hard.

If you elect me, I will push for concrete things: a district programme of planned livestock vaccination; transport and modern equipment for village veterinary stations; fast and fair compensation for farmers hit by epizootic outbreaks; real support for small farmers, not just the large farms.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make sure our villages no longer lose their livestock to a negligent system.

Career analysis

Nicolae Lungu's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

He started "from the bottom": as a veterinary paramedic he learned the trade with his hands — vaccinations, treatments, calvings in the middle of the night. That stage taught him what real fieldwork means, not the kind from textbooks.

As a sector veterinary doctor he learned what responsibility means: a wrong diagnosis can cost a family its farmstead. Veterinary medicine does not forgive superficiality — and that rigour made him a man of deeds, not words.

As head of the veterinary station he manages people, schedules and relations with five mayoralties. Administrative experience in an underfunded public service is exactly the kind of schooling a district councillor needs.

Finally, his return home after his studies — instead of staying in Chișinău — proves his bond with the territory. He knows by name the farmers of the five villages he serves: he is running from the midst of the community, not from outside it.
