Teodora Tomșa was born on 29 September 1964 in the village of Bozieni, Hîncești district, into a peasant family. After graduating from the Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University in Chișinău, she returned to her native village, where she works to this day.

Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Hîncești District Council because the future of our villages is decided in the classroom. I have been a teacher for 40 years, and I know: a good school keeps a village alive.

I was born in Bozieni. After university I returned to my native village: first as a teacher, then as deputy principal, and since 1999 as principal of the Bozieni school. Entire generations of children have passed through my hands; I meet many of them today as the parents of my pupils.

Every day I see the same problems: a school in need of major renovation — the roof, the windows, the classrooms; a canteen where children deserve hot, healthy meals, not improvisation; schoolyards with no playgrounds where our children could grow up healthy.

If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: major renovations of the district's schools, starting with the most dilapidated ones; real school canteens with hot meals for every child; playgrounds and sports grounds in the yard of every village school.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make our schools a reason to stay, not to leave.
