Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Stăuceni Local Council because I know how much a correctly and timely drawn-up document matters. I am a notary, and my office in Stăuceni serves ordinary people every day with their most serious matters: houses, inheritances, paperwork.

I have lived in Stăuceni for many years. I started as a legal adviser at a bank, worked as a notary's assistant, and since 2016 I have had my own notary office — here, in the suburb, not in the city centre.

Every day I see what people are up against: elderly people who cannot settle an inheritance because they do not know where to turn and cannot afford the costs; paperwork postponed for months; the fear of being cheated in transactions — property fraud hits the defenceless hardest.

If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: accessible notarial services in the suburb — clear fees, appointments, no queues; free legal aid for the elderly in settling inheritances; protection of owners against fraudulent transactions; transparency of the local administration's documents.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make the law protect ordinary people, not just the powerful.

Career analysis

Mihaela Ungureanu's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

As a legal adviser at a bank she learned the rigour of documents and financial responsibility: in banking, a misplaced comma costs real money. That stage made her a person of precision.

As a notary's assistant she saw thousands of real cases of ordinary people — inheritances, sales, powers of attorney. She learned that behind every file stands a family with its emotions and fears.

As a notary she takes on legal liability for documents every day. The notarial profession is a profession of trust: people entrust her with their houses and inheritances. A person entrusted with such things can be trusted to represent a community.

Finally, she opened her office in the suburb, not in the city centre — close to the people she serves. She chose to be accessible rather than prestigious: exactly the attitude a local councillor needs.
