Octavian Mîndru was born on 19 November 1974 in the town of Sîngerei, into a family of civil servants. After graduating from high school he studied law at Moldova State University, and after university he returned home — to the bar, where he pleads civil cases to this day.

Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Sîngerei District Council because justice should not depend on how much money you have for a lawyer.

I was born in Sîngerei and I have worked in law for over twenty-five years: I started as a company legal counsel, served as a trainee attorney, and since 2009 I have pleaded civil cases. I have seen people lose their homes, their land or their pensions because they could not afford a good defence.

Many conflicts should never reach court at all: good mediation resolves in weeks what a trial drags out for years. And the poorest among us need free legal aid, not promises.

If you elect me, I will push for concrete things: a mediation centre in the district, free legal aid for low-income people, and simpler procedures, so that ordinary people understand their rights.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. The law must protect everyone equally — those with money and those without.
