Oleg Melnic was born on 14 January 1987 in the village of Bilicenii Vechi, Sîngerei district, into a family of workers. After finishing school in his native village, he studied at a construction college. After his studies he worked on building sites, and in 2015 he founded his own construction company (Ltd) in the Sîngerei district.

I have decided to run for the Sîngerei District Council because I know how things get built — and how money gets stolen in construction. I started as a labourer on building sites, and today I run my own construction company, which repairs schools and roads in the district.

I was born in Bilicenii Vechi. After construction college I worked ten years as a labourer and foreman, then opened my company here, at home — because I want to build in my district, not somewhere else.

I know the problems from tenders: whoever pays "kickbacks" wins, not whoever builds well; good craftsmen leave abroad because there is no steady work here; young families lack affordable housing.

If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: fair and transparent tenders for public works — no "kickbacks"; priority for local companies that hire people from the district; an affordable-housing programme for young families; quality control of works — a real warranty, not one on paper.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can build a district where public money shows in walls, not in pockets.
