Views and principles
I have decided to run for the Fălești District Council because the land does not wait. Anyone who works the land knows: a decision taken on time at district level can save a harvest, and a late one can lose it.
I am a farmer in the third generation, from the village of Bocșa. I grew up on a tractor next to my father, and after agricultural college I leased my first 50 hectares. Today my farm works 220 hectares of cereals and sunflower and gives jobs to people from the village.
I know the problems first-hand: AIPA subsidies arrive slowly and not for everyone, the access roads to the fields break down every spring, and the price of grain is dictated by others, not by us. A small farmer has no voice at the table where these things are decided — I want to be that voice.
If you elect me, I will fight for fair access to subsidies, for irrigation and access roads repaired on time, and for fair purchase prices for grain. Agriculture is not just another sector — it is our district's daily bread.
This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make the farmer's labour respected and properly paid.
Career analysis
Petru Frunză's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.
He started as a machine operator on his father's farm — and knows work on the land not from an office but from the field: dust, heat, a broken machine in the middle of harvest. Someone who has driven a combine himself will not tell farmers fairy tales.
At 22 he took a risk and leased his first 50 hectares — other people's doubts against his own faith in the land. That courage is what sets an entrepreneur apart from an observer: he knows how to take responsibility when the stakes are high.
Today his farm is 220 hectares and jobs for fellow villagers. He has proven he can build and manage: plan the sowing, count the costs, keep his word to the people who work for him.
The problems he talks about — subsidies, roads, prices — he lives through every season. His platform is not campaign promises; it is his own life.
Finally, he is a farmer in the third generation from Bocșa: he stayed, invested, and is not going anywhere. He is not running "for" the village from somewhere outside — he is running from its very midst.
