Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Căușeni District Council because people have the right to know what their elected representatives decide — and why. A council that works behind closed doors represents no one.

I was born in Căușeni and I have worked in my home district's administration for over 25 years. I started as a specialist, became a principal specialist, and since 2010 I have been the secretary of the District Council. I know the administration from the inside — with everything good about it and everything that must change.

I know the problems from the council sessions, not from an office: citizens do not know when and what the council decides, because sessions are not broadcast; decisions are published with difficulty and found with even greater difficulty; people come to receptions with hope and leave with promises. Transparency is not a whim — it is the condition of trust.

If you elect me, I will push for concrete things: live broadcasts of district council sessions, so everyone can see how their representatives vote; a public register of decisions — searchable, up to date, understandable to all; real citizens' receptions, with a clear schedule and answers on time. An open council is not afraid of questions.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. I already hold an office; I am running so that it serves people, not paperwork. Together we can make Căușeni's administration an example.

Career analysis

Doina Cărăuș's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

She started "from the bottom": as a specialist she worked with files, petitions and dissatisfied people. That stage taught her that behind every paper stands a person waiting for an answer.

As a principal specialist she learned to coordinate, to verify and to answer for the quality of documents. She understood that a good administration is not the one that produces a lot of paper, but the one that solves a lot of problems.

Since 2010 she has been the secretary of the District Council — the person who guarantees the legality of every decision. She learned that the law is not an obstacle but a protection: for the council and for the citizens. Her experience is exactly what many councils lack — knowledge of procedures from the inside.

Finally, she was born in Căușeni and has served her home district's administration for over 25 years. She is not running for an office — she already has one — but so that the administration truly becomes the people's.
