Views and principles
I have decided to run because our district's economy is too often decided in offices that have never seen a person who pays salaries out of his own pocket. I have been on both sides — in business and in the district council — and I know where the link between them breaks.
I am Eduard Ursu, born in Corjova, and for over twenty years I have worked with the figures of Dubăsari district. I started as an ordinary accountant, became an economist, and since 2012 I have headed the Economy Department of the District Council.
If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: jobs created here, in the district, not promises from Chișinău; real support for small entrepreneurs — simplified procedures, advice, access to financing; honest statistics and a development plan people can understand, not a dusty document in a drawer.
The economy is not about pretty tables — it is about the bread on every family's table in the district.
This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make the young people of Dubăsari find work at home, not abroad.
Career analysis
Eduard Ursu's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.
As an accountant and economist in the private sector he learned the real economy: costs, margins, salaries paid on time or late. That experience gives him immunity to pretty figures in reports — he knows how to see what stands behind them.
Since 2012 he has headed the Economy Department of the District Council — with planning, statistics, and decisions that touch every village in the district. He has learned to think at the scale of the whole district, not a single company.
The combination of private and public experience is rare and precious: he understands both the language of business and the language of administration. A councillor who speaks both languages can build bridges, not walls.
Finally, the fact that he was born in Corjova and has tied his entire career to Dubăsari district proves he is planning the economy of the place where he lives. He is not running "for" the district from a stranger's office — he is running from home.
