Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Dubăsari District Council because a village without culture is a village losing its young people. For eleven years I have worked in our district's houses of culture, and I watch another stage go dark every year.

I was born in the village of Coșnița and grew up on the stage of its house of culture. I studied cultural studies at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts in Chișinău, and after graduating I came back home: as a methodologist, then as artistic director, and today as director of the District House of Culture.

I know the problems from the auditorium, not from reports: leaking roofs in village houses of culture, talented children without clubs or instruments, and young people leaving because nothing happens at home. Culture is not a whim — it is what binds a community together.

If you elect me, I will push for the repair of village houses of culture, funded clubs and ensembles for children, and festivals that bring young people home instead of driving them away. A district that sings is a district that lives.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make Dubăsari rediscover the joy of being together.

Career analysis

Anatolie Hîrbu's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

He started as a methodologist — doing the humblest work: posters, rehearsals, costumes. Someone who has glued up posters himself knows culture not from ceremonial reports but from the inside.

As artistic director he learned to create, not just to administer: staging concerts, assembling ensembles, setting the hall alight. Creative experience teaches the main thing — carrying a job through to applause.

Heading the District House of Culture, he manages people, budgets and events. That is already a serious management school: celebrations must happen on schedule whatever the circumstances.

He lives the problems of culture daily — and his proposals are concrete: repairs, clubs, festivals. This is a practitioner's plan, not declarations.

Finally, his roots are in Coșnița. He is bringing cultural life back home — and he is not running "for" the district from somewhere outside, but from its very midst.
