Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Cantemir District Council because for twenty years I have guarded this country's border, and I know firsthand that the border villages have been left behind. A border is only secure when the people who live next to it live well.

I was born in Cantemir district. After the police academy I came back home and served at the border crossing point, then as a shift leader, and since 2015 I have headed a border sector. I have caught smugglers in the middle of the night, driven on dirt roads to reach patrols, and watched young people leave our villages — because here they have neither a road nor a future.

If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: repairing the roads to the border villages, so people are not cut off at the first rain; real cooperation between the border police and the local authorities in the fight against smuggling, which robs the budget our schools and hospitals depend on; and decent conditions for the police officers who serve here, not in Chișinău.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. The border begins in our villages — and so does people's dignity.

Career analysis

Boris Tcaci's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

He started as a border guard at the crossing point, where he learned what duty means in its most direct sense: law, order, and real people in front of you. Discipline and personal responsibility are not learned from books — they are learned on duty.

As a shift leader he coordinated people in real situations: detentions, alerts, sleepless nights. He learned to make quick decisions, take responsibility, and never pass the blame — rare qualities in an administration used to justifications.

Since 2015 he has headed a border police sector: budget, personnel, planning, cooperation with local authorities and with structures in neighbouring districts. Leadership experience in a law-enforcement structure is exactly the administrative schooling a district councillor needs.

Finally, his choice to serve in his native district — instead of requesting a transfer to Chișinău — proves his bond with the territory. He is running from the midst of the border villages he seeks to represent, not from the sidelines.
