Views and principles
I have decided to run for the Cantemir District Council because, from thousands of case files, I know what the law means to an ordinary person: a piece of paper that either protects or crushes.
I was born in Antonești, and after law school I returned to my home district. I started as a court clerk — there I saw the system from the inside: lost files, missed deadlines, people waiting years for their pension.
Since 2006 I have been a lawyer, defending people every day in labour disputes and in the fight for pensions: unpaid wages, abusive dismissals, unrecognised years of service. I know what the despair of a person denied what they earned over a lifetime sounds like.
If you elect me, I will propose concrete things: a district office offering free legal advice to pensioners and employees; simpler pension procedures; real inspections of employers who break the Labour Code. Rights should not depend on the thickness of your wallet.
This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make the law in Cantemir stand on the side of the people.
Career analysis
Aliona Erhan's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.
As a court clerk she learned the system from the inside: she knows why cases stall, where documents get lost and how deadlines drag on. A councillor who understands the machinery can demand real reform, not slogans.
As a legal counsel at an agricultural enterprise she learned the district's real economy: contracts, wages, seasonality. She understands both employer and employee — which is why she can propose balanced solutions, not demagogy.
As a lawyer she has defended real people for nearly twenty years: she has seen hundreds of cases of abusive dismissal and denied pensions. That experience makes her the true voice of those who cannot defend themselves.
Finally, returning to Antonești after her studies and choosing to practise here rather than in Chișinău proves her bond with her native land. She is running from the very midst of the community, not from outside it.
