Biography

Silvia Railean was born on 18 April 1992 in the village of Borogani, Leova District, into a family of ordinary hardworking people. After graduating from high school she left for Chișinău, where she studied construction at the Technical University of Moldova, and after university she returned to her home district — first to construction sites in Leova, and since 2021 as a technical supervision engineer overseeing projects across the district.

I have decided to run for the Leova District Council because I know exactly what a road "repaired" only on paper looks like. I have seen too many construction sites where the money was spent and the asphalt washed away with the first rain.

I was born and raised in Borogani. After studying construction in Chișinău I returned to Leova District — first as a site technician, then as an engineer in the production-technical department, and since 2021 I have been supervising works as a technical supervision engineer. I know every stage of a construction project and I know where people's money gets lost.

I will demand one simple thing: independent technical supervision of every project paid for with public money. Roads and pavements repaired with our money must last for years, not months. The schools and kindergartens where our children learn must be safe buildings, inspected before children enter them — not after the first accident. And rain must no longer flood the streets of our villages: storm drainage is a problem that can be solved, if someone tackles it seriously.

I am running because I want public money in Leova to be visible in good roads and safe buildings. So that "done" truly means "done".

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can demand that every leu of the district budget is overseen by someone who knows what a job well done looks like.
