Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Leova District Council because I know what it means to get up at four in the morning to milk the cows — and to sell the milk for next to nothing.

I was born in Iargara and have lived off livestock farming all my life. I started as a milkmaid, then rented a farm, and since 1999 I have had my own farm: 80 head of cattle. I know every leu in the price of milk and every hard-bought sack of feed.

Today I see the problems strangling every farmer: milk procurement prices are humiliatingly low, feed has become expensive, and the veterinarian comes to the village when it suits him, not when he is needed. If you elect me, I will fight for: fair procurement prices and transparent contracts with processors, a district programme of feed support, and a veterinary service that serves villages on time, not at random.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. The milk of Iargara should feed our children, not enrich middlemen. Together we will change that.

Career analysis

Parascovia Gălușcă's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

She started "from the bottom": as a milkmaid she learned the real work of a farm — waking at four in the morning, responsibility for every animal. That stage gave her an understanding of the real rural economy that no course can replace.

In the 1990s, when collective farms were falling apart, she found the courage to rent a farm and then build her own. That decision proves initiative and resilience — qualities a public figure needs.

As the manager of an 80-head farm she learned to manage people, money and risks: milk prices, feed, animal diseases. She knows from the inside every weak link of Moldovan livestock farming.

Finally, she was born in Iargara, and her farm is in her home village. She is not running "for" Leova from somewhere outside — she is running from the midst of the land she works every day.
