Angela Ciofu was born on 8 July 1988 in the town of Iargara, Leova district, into a family of teachers. After graduating from the high school in Iargara, she studied at the "Ștefan cel Mare" Police Academy in Chișinău. After graduating, she returned to the district — to the police, where she serves to this day.

I was born in Iargara. After the "Ștefan cel Mare" Police Academy I returned to the district: I served as a community officer, walked the villages on foot, then moved into criminal investigation.

I know the problems from case files, not reports: burglaries from farmsteads because villages are not patrolled at night; phone scams leaving pensioners without savings; people's distrust of the police because they see no results.

If you elect me, I will push for concrete things: regular patrols in the district's villages, including at night; awareness campaigns protecting the elderly from scams; public police reporting to communities; real support for victims, not just statistics.
