Biography

Teofil Tudose was born on 2 October 1968 in the village of Briceni, Dondușeni district. He graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova with a degree in economics and has worked in the district administration since 1990: first as a specialist, then as a senior specialist, and since 2003 as head of the Economy Department of the Dondușeni District Council.

I have decided to run for the Dondușeni District Council because, after 30 years in the district's administration, I know exactly where our economy gets stuck — and I know how to unstick it. A district's economy is not made from an office: it is made in factories, workshops and markets.

I was born in Dondușeni district and have spent my entire career here: from specialist to head of the Economy Department. I have seen enterprises close because they had no one to ask for advice, and I have seen small businesses grow because someone opened a door for them in time.

If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: a one-stop shop for investors and small entrepreneurs in the district — so no one has to run with a folder from door to door; support programmes for small and medium enterprises, from micro-grants to consulting; and regular fairs for local producers, so that Dondușeni's products find buyers. Money earned here must stay here.

I know the administration from the inside — the good and the bad. I know what works and what is just paper. I am now putting this experience at the service of people, not of the system.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make Dondușeni a district worth investing in and worth staying in.
