Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Dondușeni District Council because animal health is the health of our villages: when a farm collapses, a family collapses.

I was born in Dondușeni district. After university I came back home: I started as a veterinary paramedic, became a veterinarian, and since 2016 I have been the district's chief veterinary officer. I know every farm, every sheepfold and every food market in the district — because I have visited them all.

I see the same problems everywhere: diseases spreading because vaccination comes late; unregulated animal burial sites — a real threat to groundwater; markets where meat is sold with no veterinary inspection. A single outbreak can destroy a year's work in a few days.

If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: a district vaccination and epizootic surveillance programme, with no delays; animal burial sites brought up to sanitary standards; real veterinary control at markets — so people buy safe meat. The district's agriculture must be protected like an investment, not treated as a fatality.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility.

Career analysis

Marina Savciuc's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

As a veterinary paramedic she worked "in the field": vaccinations, treatments, emergency farm visits in every season. She learned the trade from the bottom up, not from an office — and people who work with their hands earn the villages' trust.

As a veterinarian she mastered diagnosis and responsibility: one wrong decision can cost an entire herd — a family's income for a year. That rigour — every decision weighed, every risk owned — defines her as a professional.

Since 2016 she has led the district's veterinary service: planning vaccination campaigns, coordinating teams, answering to the authorities. That is management experience in a field where mistakes are costly — exactly the kind of schooling a district councillor needs.

Finally, her entire career is tied to the same district: the farmers know and respect her. She understands Dondușeni's agriculture not from statistics but from people's farmyards — which makes her the genuine voice of the villages she seeks to represent.
