Elena Guțu was born on 23 September 1996 in the town of Drochia. She grew up in the village of Antoneuca, where she graduated from the local gymnasium, and after university she returned to teach at the very school where she had once studied.

I have decided to run for the Drochia District Council because school does not end at the gymnasium gate. Our children's problems begin on the road to school and continue long after the last bell.

I was born in Drochia and I teach at the school of my native village, Antoneuca. I started as a primary school teacher and today I am deputy head. I know my pupils by name, I know their families, and I know exactly what our school needs.

Every day I see it: children from neighbouring villages struggling to get to school because there is no school bus; a gym in urgent need of repair; children left to themselves after classes because there are no clubs and no after-school programme.

If you elect me, I will push for simple, concrete things: a school bus for children from neighbouring villages; renovation of the gymnasium's sports hall; free clubs and an after-school programme, so that no child is left on the street after classes. A good school begins with care for every child.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make the Antoneuca school a place children come to with joy.
