Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Strășeni District Council because a village without support for its households loses its future. I am a veterinarian, and for twenty years the health of this district's animals has been my profession.

I was born and raised in Cojușna. After university I worked as a district veterinarian, and in 2015 I opened my own clinic — here, in my village, for people I know by name.

I see the problems every day: small farmers pay dearly for consultations and medicines, sick animals in villages go without help, and stray dogs multiply unchecked. A private clinic alone cannot solve what a district programme must solve.

If you elect me, I will push for concrete things: free veterinary consultation days in villages; a district programme for sterilising stray animals; support for small farmers buying vaccines and feed. Accessible veterinary care means healthy households and income for people.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make our village remain a place where it is worth living and working.

Career analysis

Galina Vieru's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

She started "from the bottom": as a veterinary paramedic she walked the villages, entering every household. She knows the real price of rural work — not from statistics, but with her own hands.

As a district veterinarian she learned to make quick decisions and to take responsibility for people's entire livestock. Medical rigour made her a woman of deeds.

In 2015 she took the step into entrepreneurship: her own clinic. She learned what investments, taxes, clients and competition mean — she understands the real economy, not its theory.

Finally, her bond with Cojușna — the native village where she was born, studied and works — proves that this candidacy comes from the midst of the community, not from outside. She is running for people she knows and who know her.
