Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Strășeni District Council because safety is not negotiable: a person must feel safe on their street, in their village, on the road home.

I was born in Strășeni. At twenty-two I put on the uniform — and never took it off: precinct officer, precinct chief, and since 2012 deputy head of the inspectorate. Thirty-five years in the police of my district.

I know the problems from the ground: the Chișinău–Strășeni road, where accidents come one after another; villages without a precinct officer, where people wait hours for help; young people losing their lives in accidents that could have been prevented.

If you elect me, I will propose concrete things: regular patrols and lighting on the Chișinău–Strășeni route; precinct officers in every large village of the district; real road-accident prevention programmes in schools. The law must be present where people live, not just on paper.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make Strășeni a district where you feel safe.

Career analysis

Costin Nastas's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

He started as a precinct officer — on the streets, in courtyards, at people's doors: he knows what community trust is and how it is earned, case by case.

As precinct chief he learned to coordinate people in crisis situations: discipline, quick decisions, responsibility for subordinates — leadership qualities proven in the field.

As deputy head of the inspectorate he manages a complex structure: personnel, logistics, cooperation with the authorities. He knows public administration from inside one of its most demanding institutions.

Thirty-five years in the police of the same district — a life dedicated to the safety of the people of Strășeni. He is not running for image, but to bring into the council the experience of someone who has seen the problems with his own eyes.
