I am running for the Briceni District Council because I have seen too many hardworking farmers ruined not by drought, but by paperwork: wrong accounting, misunderstood taxes, subsidies lost through ignorance.

I was born in Bocicăuți. I started as an ordinary accountant at the collective farm, rose to chief accountant, and since 2005 I have been advising the district's farmers: how to keep their books, how to pay their taxes correctly, how to access the subsidies they are entitled to.

I know a farmer has no time for bureaucracy — he has time for the field. But one mistake in a tax return can cost him more than a bad year. I speak the language of numbers so that he does not have to learn it.

If you elect me, I will propose concrete things: a district centre offering free accounting and tax advice to farmers; financial literacy programmes in the villages; simpler procedures for accessing agricultural subsidies. Public money must reach those who work the land, not get lost in paperwork.
