Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Anenii Noi District Council because a village school cannot defend itself — and ours needs defending.

I was born in Batîc and I stayed here. For almost thirty years, every morning I have walked through the gates of the village gymnasium: first as a geography teacher, then as deputy principal, and since 2010 as principal. I know every classroom, every child, every parent.

Small schools are first on the "optimisation" list. We are told it is cheaper to bus children elsewhere. But a closed school means a slowly dying village. We need a safe school bus, computers and internet in every classroom, and young teachers who want to stay.

If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: no child in the district without school transport, modern equipment for small schools, and incentives for teachers who choose the villages.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. A village with a school is a village with a future.

Career analysis

Corneliu Brînză's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

For almost thirty years he has worked in the same school — generations have passed through its desks. Few understand as he does what a school means to a village: not just a building, but the place where the village raises its future.

As a geography teacher he learned to explain clearly and to listen — geography teaches you to see the connections between things, and a good representative needs exactly that.

As deputy principal and then principal he manages budgets, teaching staff, repairs, and relations with parents and authorities. He has learned real administration — not from reports: little money, great expectations.

Finally, he chose to stay in Batîc when he could have left for the city. A man who has defended his native village's school for almost thirty years does not need to prove his bond with the territory — he lives it every day.
