Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Ștefan Vodă District Council because water is not a whim — it is the first condition of a dignified life. And in too many villages of our district it is still missing or comes with interruptions.

I was born in Carahasani. I started as a technician, became an engineer, and since 2005 I have headed the district water supply service. For thirty-four years I have laid pipes, repaired pumps and learned one thing: behind every tap that does not run stands a family that is waiting.

The problems are clear: worn-out networks losing half the water on the way, drinking water quality below standard in many villages, sewerage — a luxury for most localities. These are not abstract technical issues, but people's daily lives.

If you elect me, I will propose concrete things: a district programme to modernise water networks, village by village; mobile laboratories to check drinking water quality; sewerage projects for the larger localities. Clean water must not be a privilege.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make clean water flow from the tap in every home in the district.

Career analysis

Dana Mardare's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

She started as a technician — hands on the pipes: she knows the district's infrastructure metre by metre, not from papers. A councillor who knows the terrain cannot be fooled by pretty reports.

As an engineer she learned to design and to calculate: every solution has a cost and a deadline. Engineering thinking means measurable promises, not empty words.

Twenty years heading the district service means managing a critical structure: breakdowns, crews, budgets, decisions taken at night. She has learned real responsibility — when you get it wrong, a village is left without water.

She was born in Carahasani and has given water to the villages of her home district all her life. She is running so that every household in Ștefan Vodă has what she has provided for thirty years: clean water from the tap.
