Views and principles
I have decided to run for the Rezina District Council because thirty years next to cement kilns have taught me two things: the plant feeds the district, but the district should not have to pay with its health.
I was born in Bușăuca, a few kilometres from the plant. After university I came back home: I started as a lab assistant, became a process engineer, and since 2007 I have been running an entire shift. I know production from the inside — and I know what it leaves behind.
If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: real control of dust and emissions — modern filters are not a luxury, they are an obligation; jobs for people from the surrounding villages, with priority for locals; decent roads from the quarry, so heavy machinery stops destroying village roads.
This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make industry bring prosperity, not just smoke and dust.
Career analysis
Stela Antoci's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.
She started "from the bottom": as a lab assistant she learned production from real samples — analyses, measurements, standards. That stage taught her that behind every technical parameter stand people: the shift workers and the families breathing the air near the plant.
As a process engineer she learned to make decisions that cost — in money and in human lives. Industry does not forgive improvisation: every deviation from the technology has a price, and that rigour made her a woman of deeds, not words.
Since 2007 she has been running an entire shift — people, machinery, schedules, safety. Experience in managing a complex industrial process and answering for results is exactly the kind of schooling a district councillor needs.
Finally, her choice to work three decades near her native village — instead of seeking a career in the city — proves her bond with the territory she seeks to represent. She is not running "for" Rezina from somewhere outside: she is running from its very midst.
