Biography

Fiodor Topal was born on 3 October 1983 in the town of Vulcănești, ATU Gagauzia, into a family of teachers. After graduating from the Vulcănești high school, he studied law at Comrat State University, which he graduated from in 2005. He worked as a legal adviser to a company and to the Executive Committee of Gagauzia, and since 2014 he has run a private law practice, specialising in business and land disputes.

Views and principles

I have decided to run for the People's Assembly of Gagauzia because for twenty years I have defended ordinary people and entrepreneurs from the south of the country in court — and I know that the law can be a shield, not just a burden. A businessman from Vulcănești deserves the same protection as one from Chișinău.

I was born in Vulcănești. I studied law in Comrat, worked as a legal adviser to a company, then to the Executive Committee, and since 2014 I have practised as a lawyer: business disputes, land issues, cases in which one wrong paper can leave a family without land or a small shop without a licence. I have seen a farmer lose a plot because he did not understand a document written in a language he does not master.

If you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: real protection of the rights of Gagauzia's entrepreneurs — clear contracts, transparent procedures, no informal "fees"; solving inherited land problems: plot delimitation, access to cadastral information; and genuinely bilingual official documents, so everyone understands their rights in the language they speak.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Justice should not depend on the address in your ID.
