Biography

Gheorghe Țurcanu was born on 7 September 1992 in the town of Anenii Noi, into a family of workers. After graduating from high school he entered the "Alexandru cel Bun" Military Academy, graduating in 2014. A ten-year career in the National Army followed — first as an officer in a motorised infantry brigade, then in a staff position — and in 2024 he moved to the reserve and returned to his hometown, where he teaches initial military training at the high school.

I have decided to run for the Anenii Noi District Council because a strong town begins with strong young people. After ten years in uniform, I know what discipline, duty and respect for one's country mean — and I know these things are taught, not inherited.

I was born in Anenii Noi and grew up on these streets. The Military Academy made me an officer, and the motorised infantry brigade taught me what it means to be responsible for people. In 2024 I moved to the reserve and came back home — to the Anenii Noi high school, where I teach initial military training.

Every day I see teenagers who have nothing to do with their free time and parents worried about their future. That is why, if you elect me, I will fight for concrete things: real initial military training lessons and patriotic education in schools, not on paper; genuine support for the military families of our district; sports clubs and camps for teenagers, so they grow up healthy and disciplined.

A young person who knows what duty to country and community means will not run at the first hardship. He will stay and build.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can raise a generation that loves this land and knows how to defend it.
