Ghenadie Sîrbu was born on 2 August 1980 in the town of Otaci, Ocnița district, into a family of drivers. After graduating from the Auto Transport College he worked as a driver, and in 2012 he founded his own transport company with suburban routes in Ocnița district, where he works to this day.

I have decided to run for the Ocnița District Council because a village without regular transport is a village cut off from the world. I am a transport entrepreneur, and for twenty-five years the roads of this district have been my life.

I was born and raised in Otaci. I started as a driver, and in 2012 I opened my own company: today our minibuses connect the district's villages with the town. I know every bend of these roads and every passenger by face.

I see the problems every day: villages reached by no regular route, ageing minibuses, a bus station waiting years for repair. People cannot get to a doctor, to school, to the market — and then they leave.

If you elect me, I will push for concrete things: regular routes to the most remote villages of the district; a programme to modernise the minibus fleet; the reconstruction of the Otaci bus station. Transport is not a luxury — it is people's right to be connected.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make sure no village in the district is left cut off from the world.
