Views and principles

I have decided to run for the Soroca District Council because behind every sick animal stands a family that lives off it. For eleven years I have treated the animals of our district's farms, and I know how much people depend on them.

I was born in Soroca district, in the village of Alexandru cel Bun. I studied veterinary medicine at the State Agrarian University of Moldova, and after graduating I came back home: first to the district veterinary post, then as head of a veterinary area, and today I run my own practice — serving the farms of our villages.

I know the problems from the ground: the vet rarely reaches remote villages, animal diseases spread because vaccination comes late, and small livestock farmers are left alone to face trouble. An outbreak not treated in time can ruin an entire household.

If you elect me, I will push for a mobile veterinary service for remote villages, real vaccination programmes, and support for small livestock farmers. Our district's agriculture stands on the health of its animals.

This candidacy is not about office — it is about responsibility. Together we can make the labour of Soroca's livestock farmers protected.

Career analysis

Diana Gîlcă's career confirms, step by step, the qualities a voters' representative needs.

She grew up among animals — and chose her profession by vocation, not by chance. Someone who has known farm labour since childhood understands livestock farmers without an interpreter.

Work at the district veterinary post showed her the public system from the inside: its capabilities and its gaps. She knows what can be repaired and what must be built anew.

Heading a veterinary area, she learned to coordinate people and answer for results across a large territory. That is already management experience — exactly what a district councillor needs.

Her own practice added an entrepreneurial streak: she understands the real economy — costs, risks, the price of a mistake.

Her proposals — a mobile vet service, vaccination, support for small farms — were born in the field, not in an office. She is running to represent those whose work she knows down to the smallest detail.
